Kinda new to Bedlam

Okay heres the thing, I've been to Bedlam twice since January and I've gotta say I don't think I'm getting enough out of it.

Any advice on how to make the most out of Bedlam?, thanks

Dance like your feet are on fire. I've been going since August, it seems to work. Also, if you like something you think they'd play there, request it. Basically, same as with any club. Get to know people, there are plenty of regulars there - just think of something to say after 'Hey, nice _____' if you're complimenting clothing. And if you see me, say hi. I have no idea who you are.

Talk to people. About movies, music, life, interests, their clothes etc

Offer to buy them drinks if they are nice to you. People don't bite

See when you go with other people do they talk to other people? If they do talk to them but try not but in. Be patient and wear something crazy that stands out. Ya know?

I didn't know anyone when I first went. That's where socialising comes in. I'm rubbish at it but I've managed somehow!

If you see this venomous harridan, introduce yourself. I promise to say hi right back atcha. Opening lines include 'Hello, I'm GrantM!' and 'Happy birthday!' if you are coming along this month.

This pretty lady speaks the truth! (I had a nosy look at the pic hun, you look gorgous! I shall try and spot you out next time I am there.)

I left my friend to go into the toilet and I spoke to this lovely lady who lent me her brush one Bedlam. Alot of people at Bedlam are lovely and laid back. They don't bite.

The ladies' loos at 'lam are the best place for meeting people. Unless you're male (although even then...). The banter's brilliant! Most people are easily approachable.

Just to clarify, Grant, that doesn't mean you have permission to wander into the ladies' room looking for banter....

1. try going into bedlam proper rather than standing in the corridor area, if you can't find/don't want to talk to anyone particularly then buy a drink and watch whatever anime's playing on the big screen.
2. lose the michael jackson voice, try to sound less like a paedophile when introducing yourself to people.
