| Re: Jan-lam?... er... January Bedlam I think it's time to introduce then to Gary Numan's more recent efforts. It may not be to everyone's taste, but it'll be something slightly different, by Jove. I'm sure if I say 'he liked Nine Inch Nails' they'll consider it for a whole second as something for the 1am 'stuff' section. |

It's a faint possibility for me. Harlot the night before, so there's every chance that I'll be quite unable to drag myself from what will probably be my deathbead. |

| Re: Jan-lam?... er... January Bedlam DJ'ing a niche night is always going to come under criticism for revolving setlists. Complaining about setlists online and on forums boards is also something that you expect and you allow for it the minute you post anything advertising your night. It would be great if all criticism was constructive, but that's not what customers owe DJs and although some customers do try, it's just the nature of the beast. The worst is bitching DJs, especially those who complain the night's not cutting edge enough We've all had them, Brian. |

I know that you can't please everyone, all the time though we do try to hit the mark most of the time. Request at the booth can be a bit random (namely 'Cher', 'f*cked up Death Metal' and a period of 'Status Quo' for some reason ) messaging us gives us a chance to bring CDs we haven't for a while, critism gives us the 'customers' view. Feedback is good (ask The Jesus and Marychain) |

| Re: Jan-lam?... er... January Bedlam Personally i love the high certainty of hearing particular songs at Bedlam. I've been going for about 9 years now and until very recently it's been the only place me and my best mate go with any regularity and it's nice go to to a club and dance to our favourite stuff rather than both of us sitting there with quizzical looks on our face asking "do we know this one?" Guess we're just a bit old and set in our ways *sigh*

| Re: Jan-lam?... er... January Bedlam I like bellyaching.
Run a goth night, get moany fuckers for customers.
That said, it'd be lovely to hear Rico, or Nick Cave, or any Joy Division song that isn't Love Will Tear Us Apart. It'd be even more lovely to not hear Call the Ships to Port. Ta.
