No revolution and bedlam are different things. If memory serves, revolution is on a tuesday and is targeted at students. Bedlam is not for students and basically consists of all the folk that used to go to the Tech ten or more years ago.
Hope that answers ye...

Just agreed to start driving up to the city to "attend" Bedlam after much persuasion by a mate. One thing - I haven't been up the west end for a couple of years and I know they've messed around with lots of the road & parking arrangements. Hows the parking up at the QM nowadays?

That's exactly the attitude that makes me dislike Bedlam with a passion.

My apologies if I read that wrong, though.

From your posts on the Destiny forum I don't think you've ever been to bedlam. I think you met some twat of a goth last time you were out in the 80's and you've hated anything remotely linked to the genre ever since.

Nah, just a bit of the "we belong here, you don't, we like to eat outsiders" kinda attitude I've found there.

Looking back, though, there was nothing in your post that said anything like that.

My apologies.

Its not that we hate outsiders - of course we dont - its just nice to go somewhere that people are around the same age cos it can get wearing to go to the catty and be the oldest by about ten years. Thats all. Im gonna be 31 tomorrow and most of the catty regulars are about 18 or 19. We like different things.

Hey.. wait now... I'm 19.. and i do believe i saw a large number of you peeps at the Siousxie and the Banshees concert...

or could i be mistaken?

Anyway, Quit generalising about the youth of today (if you'll allow me this little generalisation.. most of us do suck, but we have a few shining hopes)..

damn, i've gotta make an effort to get back to bedlam.
seven months since last visit

If this is the same person, I think he expected to see younger girly goths there.

i do look forward to bedlam every moth, though i think it has the danger of falling ino the same trap the catty has.. it is a lot of the same old stuff again and again... though the gap between nights lessens the effect of this. me personally id like to see a weekly industrial night akin to bedlam, but with more new stuff played, saying that, ill still be ther evey month even if i am only one of those annoying youngsters. heh
