| Re: Bedlam - Club Old Satans' havin a bit of rant eh?
Didn't realise it was about being better than anyone, thought the whole idea was to promote and support the Goth scene to ensure it stays healthy (well pale looking)!!
Stop eatin' nuts with GM on the packet you muppet!!! |

| Re: Bedlam - Club Given the lack of other options in Glasgow, I think you could be forgiven for declaring Bedlam the 'best'.
Playlists can be a bit samey but as Space Zulu said, it does get people dancing, if they spent all night playing obscure tracks from the furthest depths of dark music that only a couple of people will know, it'd make for a pretty shit night.
Although fair enough, they could do with a few new tracks.
Even without the music, when else in Glasgow do you get the mix and number of such diverse people, or such diversity of costume? (except perhaps ClubNoir, but that's a different discussion altogether)
Personally I think Bedlam's great, it makes a fantastic end to the month. |

| Re: Bedlam - Club you'll blend in well, don't worry
if you see a guy flailing his arms around, buried in hair, normally with a huuuge gap surrounding him, that's me.
not really into this static dancing malarky. |

Considering Boredom (sorry Bedlam) never changes its playlist I think the above comment is from someone so far up their own (insert appropriate noun).!!! Changing the order in which you play them is not considered radical............. | Was just pointed to this, hence the late response.....
Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
To say this is harsh is an understatement though, I think you're out of order. That's just MHO though.
I have always had a good night at Bedlam and am more than happy to recommend it to anyone who's looking for a decent night to go to.
Bedlam is the longest established club of it's ilk in Glasgow and if people are voting with their feet ? it *is* arguably the best according to the punters......
If your way of voicing your opinion is to do so in such a way, you aren't doing much to have that opinion respected.
Carry on this way and I shall seriously doubt that you're doing anything to "support the Goth scene" as you suggest (in a later comment) "it" is all about.
Personally, I always find that constructive criticism works better than an all out, disrespectful slagging. Especially on the clubs own forum.
Oh yeah, just curious - darksquirrel666 & satansquirrel, same attitude and similar names, joined AN fairly close together, could just be a coincidence but.....you guys aren't related are you ?
I'll say no more. |

Looks like Darksquirrel at least is connected to Vain and Amatis, as they've posted a few times pimping said nights in various areas of the forum.
Squirrel ( Either one )...
If you are connected to one club, it's not really fair play to pop up in another club's thread and slag it off posing as an unbiased punter.
Is it? |

| I somehow doubt that the Vain or Amatis guys would advocate this kind of behaviour.
If tufty is trying to do them any favours he/she is having the opposite effect .
I figure said squirrel has probably got the message now.....one can hope anyway |

I have been going since it started and have always enjoyed myself there. Apart from the fact the number of those attending on a regular basis must speak for something, its always packed these days!!!
And i dont think folk just go 'coz theres nothing else to do!!!'
So if you have a problem with the organisers that is your business, dont badmouth the club for it.
Ive read the posts by both the squirrels and i think that if they were handwritten they would look identical |

| Re: Bedlam - Club Dear All,
Having re-read my above posts I feel that I should apologise to all those involved in the content of my postings.
I do not organise the running of any club and accept that my comments may have been unhelpful and unfair to those that do.
It was not my intention to cause disharmony or upset to anyone, I was only expressing a personal opinion. However, I realise that saying this on a public forum is not appropriate.
Regards, DS |

| Re: Bedlam - Club Engage you're brain before coming onto this Community and slandering a very good club that has a large intake of regular punters. Not only are you are/were you insulting the organisers, it also reflects your opinion of the punters too.
I'm not entirely sure that the last post was sincere, lets just say we know who you are.
