Nah Edge - That last post was dripping with sarcasm.
Squirrel - The problem is not that you expressed an opinion.
The problem is that you have advertised the club nights in question on here - Whether you did this off your own back, or you're connected to the clubs in some official capacity - And then gone into OTHER club nights' threads and slagged them off there.
It also appears that you have registered two seperate accounts to do so - Something that's not been addressed yet, but that I'm going to address now.
Are you posting under both ID's "darksquirrel666" and "satansquirrel"?
If so - Why?
If not - How do you explain the fact that DS seems to refer to posts made by SS as if they had been made by DS?
( For the record, my personal opinion of Bedlam is that I do not like it and do not attend. But that's my personal opinion based mostly upon my musical tastes. Just so it's clear that I hold no bias towards Bedlam or against Vain etc. I just feel that petty personal politics should have no part in the club scene if at all possible, and that it would be nice if clubs and promoters could play fair and not resort to attempting to fuck each other over with unsporting tactics... )

although i need to re-do my hair... so it could be any colour by then (taking suggestions) but i'll definatly have my pink fluttery eyelashes. wouln't be bedlam if i could see where i was going without everything being a lovely pink blur

Oh, so YOU took my Flux Capacitor!
BTW, is saying "If you see a girl with pink hair at Bedlam, come say hi to me!" not kinda the industrial equivalent of someone in West Side Story going into the hispanic quarter, yelling "Maria!" and only having one girl stick her head out a window and say "Yeah? Wot?"
...and the cathouse equivilant of 'that girl with the black hair and lots of eyeliner'![]()
I started going to Bedlam again at the beginning of the year after a 2 years absence. Not much has changed in the great scheme of things there.
A few new faces,Few new tracks,Same old nonsense.
It's like a security blanket for a lot of people - Nice & Safe!
I suppose they try and please everyone,Fair enough. You can't blame them for that. They provide a service once a month,Unfortunately that's all it is a service.
A lot of people attending doesn't necessarily make it good.Lack of choice can produce high numbers turning up.Yeah i know,There's other clubs but either during the week or you have to travel.
Maybe a few guest DJ's would freshen it up once in a while,Just an idea.
My musical tastes are pretty varied and I'll give most things (within reason) a listen but there's a valid point about predictability made before and i can't say I've noticed that many new tracks played,In fact after not being there for so long i can still almost predict what will be played and when. That just isn't right!
Anyway having said that I'm sure I'll be there with the girlfriend (If she's not working) next week getting drunk and dancing around.
Everyone needs a safe place sometimes![]()
Paper Planes, on repeat.
That's a request plz.
