"Boredom(sorry Bedlam).......at the QM is USUALLY the last Saturday of the month except in special circumstances" ROFL!!!

Considering Boredom (sorry Bedlam) never changes its playlist I think the above comment is from someone so far up their own (insert appropriate noun).!!! Changing the order in which you play them is not considered radical.............

Re: Bedlam - Club

Hey, thats a bit harsh. Brian at Bedlam actually does play a variation of tunes. However I have to admit some of the other DJ's can be a little repetitive on their choice of music. The Rob Zombie, Rammstein, M. Manson stuff at around 1 O'clock just gets really annoying when you can almost time your watch by it and what order its going to come at.

Other than that... its pretty much like most clubs. So dont bitch too much.

Edge, have a look at the time of both threads?? I replied before the original message??

Unless I lost it due to a hard days work, it said that Boredom was the best in Glasgow, except in special circumstances. Unless I am losing it or affected by a time loop methinks the message has been changed???

What gets me annoyed is the people that run Boredom telling everyone they are the best in Glasgow (sic)! What would you consider merits this accolade? No. of people? More than likely. Quality of music? ROFL!!!

There is such a thing as Integrity.

I've never heard Brian go around stating Bedlam is "the best in Glasgow". First night I met him at Infest 03 he heard my accent and said "I run a wee club in Glasgow if you fancy coming along". Since then ive been a lot. Never once has he stated his was "the best". However, I cannot say that any of the other organisers have stated that.

Brian is indeed the salt of the earth. The other two are pure evil. Spend their spare time making fur coats out of puppies

Re: Bedlam - Club

I don't think there is anything wrong with the quality or variety of mucic at Bedlam and I think if you look at the numbers attending & the dancefloor throughout the night my point seems justified.

Sure, sometimes the same songs played that were played at previous nights but it's a tried and tested formula, it's gets the dancefloor full and they generally play the tracks that cater for the people who attend.

I really enjoy it these days and although my taste is for the more EBM/Techno Industrial styles I'm always happy with what gets played now as it is quite a varied set list which incidently always features new and current bands/artists tracks as well as some old faves

Chill & enjoy it & maybe ask for a few requests yourself

'Fraid you wouldn't catch me dead in the place. I've got nothing against Brian just the ones that run the club. Lets leave it at that.

Re: Bedlam - Club

ahhh, so your opinion isn't of the actual club night and it's music then, you just don't personally like those who run it.

Fair do's, that explains why your criticisms seem a bit unrelated to most folk's experiences of actually being there on a night out.
