So, back on the road again, another trip, another band.
Well … obviously I’ve been away since my last diary, but some bands like the tour diary, some don’t … hence the missing months.
I’m with Revolution Mother this time. Most of you probably won’t have heard of them yet, but you should go have a listen:

It’s only a little support tour, so we’re slumming it in a van. No tour bus.
When you’re the support band, you might only be making $150 to $200 a night, so you have to do everything on the cheap. You can still have a really good time, but it’s just a bit more … basic.
To start off with we’re in Dublin, supporting The Gallows, but first we have to head into the city to do a little signing with Mike at Skate City. It’s full of little kids, like mini-skaters. They’re all rather excitable, which is nice.
Mini-Skaters a go-go!
Jason waits outside the signing
Signing done we grab a bite to eat and head back to the venue to soundcheck. As the support band, we’re at the mercy of the main band as to whether we get any time to soundcheck or not, but the Gallows boys are all very cool, and we get all the time we need.
It’s a good show. There’s about 200 people in the hall when we go on, all seem to be getting into it. After the show, people want to buy copies of the album, but due to an unidentified problem with UPS, none of our merch has turned up … and there’s no one answering the phone at UPS Customer Services … more than a little annoying.
I head back to the hotel with Mike, leaving Jason, Colin and Brendan to head off into the Dublin night in search of Guinness. I hope they don’t overdo it on the first night …
