Helsinki
Ah.. Helsinki.. any regular readers of the tour diaries will know I love it up here.. it's just such a beautiful place. It's a bit overcast today, so not as stunning as it usually is, but still.. better than home.
It's a rather boring day today, no real drama to talk about.. it's the first of the 'regular' shows we're doing with Funeral For A Friend, as opposed to the iTunes/Coke organised shows that have been very strange over the last few days.
Helsinki Dinner Options..
Tonight we have a crowd that are actually here to see the bands, not just people that won some free tickets.. and that shows.
It's a cracking gig, everyone's well into it and the crowd give us a really good response.
After the show the guys all gather around the merch stand, talking and signing stuff for anyone who wants it. Quite cool actually, lots of bands don't take the time to do that.
Later, we begin the journey from hell.. we're still in the van.. no room to lie down.. but we have to drive 3 hrs to get to Turku to get to the ferry, which leaves at 7.30am.. so there's no point in getting a hotel. We head off into the night.. rather uncomfortable.
Travel Day
Yes.. it's another day on the boat.. not very exciting.. so have some pics instead.
Ferry Terminal Boredom
Captain Jason and Brendan the cabin boy..
Bastad Bunny?
Very Juvenile.. but yes.. I laughed..
Especially for Steve Scapegoat.. people outside of Glasgow probably wont get this joke..
Sunset.. just outside Stockholm, as the ferry arrives back in Sweden
After 11hrs on the boat, we're back into the van to drive to Copenhagen.. another 7 hrs. Luckily, when we get there, we're swapping into a bigger van that has some bunks in the back, make life a little more pleasant. Lets see how it all turns out..
