OK, so, we make it to Copenhagen at about 3am and switch into our new van.. it's not even close to luxurious, but it has beds in it.. which is a start.
Here are the pics from the company website..
Obviously, when you put 6 people in it, it's a little cramped.
Copenhagen
This is the last of these iTunes/Coke shows.. and everyone is glad of it. They've just been bringing in such a strange crowd, it kills off the gig vibe.
The promoter here, Jeppe, is a friend of mine. We've worked together a few times, which is good, because it's a bit of a squeeze with the gear. We agree to let the other opening bands use our equipment to make things much easier all around. Problem solved.
Sorry, I don't have any pics for you today, the lighting in the club wasn't that great, so nothing good to show you.
After the show it's into our little bunks and off to Hamburg with Brad behind the wheel..
Hamburg
Ah Hamburg.. I really like it here.. the city has a lot of life about it. Always good for a party.
I've been here at the Logo club a few times, and they're nice people, even though it's only a little club.
For the next few shows, it's only us and FFAF on the bill, which means we get time to have a real soundcheck. That obviously makes everyone much happier.
Soundcheck Pics...
I find something very strange in the toilet... you can amuse yourself while you piss by playing football... see if you can squirt the ball into the back of the net
Once we get up and running it's a crazy show.. the club is sold out, and it's a real sweat box.. no AC. The good thing is everyone here is up for it, and they're here to see FFAF and maybe even us. It goes off in style..
Unfortunately again, it's not a great lighting rig, so not that many usable pics for you..
Show Pics..
After the show, the boys and some of FFAF are taken off into town by FFAF's manager.. I follow on about an hour behind to find them more than a little drunk, but all having a great time.
It's 5am before I manage to get everyone back to the bus and into bed.. we pull off into the night, waving a drunken goodbye to a great night in Hamburg.
