You know what would be cool? If you could end every sentence with a trademark Zakk Wylde Guitar Wail™... it would make even the most mundane conversations much more interesting...

Flicking through the contents of my mp3 player, I notice the number of "complete discographies" I have on there, more specifically of artists that were around many years before I was even born, that are still somewhat active in 2008... complete works of Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, even pretty much everything Alice Cooper has ever recorded, and he's going way back to the 60's.

It strikes me that I have people's entire lifetimes here... how much have these people lived between...

We left Manchester around 6pm to get to Huddersfield, but traffic meant we didn't get to the place till around 7.20 or so. Bar and Jacs welcomed in to their house which was to be the venue for the gig in a little ex-Milling town called Milnsbridge. We were fed a lovely vegetable stew and generally made to feel at home. After a short tour of the house, it used to be a pub and as such had a beer cellar which Bar had converted in to a recording studio (and home brew factory!), people started to arrive...

Glasgow bus station
As usual my over neurotic self got me to the bus station in Glasgow an hour early, as if some helpful steward was going to spot me and say "Ahh, Mr Hughes, you are early! Would you like to relax in the lounge until your coach awaits you?", or more realistically, "Ah Mr Hughes, you are early! We have forfeited your ticket for this"....
