Hospital smells

I hate hospitals - hate the food and the smell and the threat of ever needing to use a bed pan fills me with horror. Even if you get a little room all to yourself you can still hear the moaning and groaning from someone who is on their last legs in the room along the hall - or maybe they just have really bad indigestion or something but its plain horrible.

Thats where I spent my weekend - in Monklands General Hospital unable to sleep or eat cause the foods crap lets be honest. Nothing too serious but I did need a small operation - Im back at work now so Im absolutely fine - in fact I feel better than I have in weeks so it must have worked. Kev is spoiling me rotten - insists that I rest completely and let him do all my housework and get my pain killers and cook for me and stuff so he has been an absolute star - just makes me love him all the more Kids have been at mothers all weekend while I recuperate so Im looking forward to getting them back tonight - although they have both been sick all weekend too (must be something going around).

I hope I never have to go back to hospital - I hate those places.
