Ex getting married
Posted 8th September 2004 at 10:26am by Hevs
Well my ex - father of my kids and pain my arse has just told me that hes getting married to his girlfriend from Newcastle who he has known for 5 months and who is moving herself and her 7 year old son to Airdrie to live with him. Him who wont put her name on the lease of his house incase she actually clicks to the fact that hes a total prat and tries to throw him out. Him that laughed and told me that she waits on him hand and foot when he goes down there at the weekends. Hmmmm not exactly a great start to a \"trusting\" relationship - mind you thats what he wants. Someone who will run after him and bring him a cup of tea and a lit ciggie in an ashtray every morning, just like his mother does for him now. Someone who wont mind when he goes out drinking 4 nights a week and leaves her with the kids but insists she gets a babysitter if she wants a night out with the girls. Someone who will take the violence and not punch back (I think this is where I went wring - I hit back). I pity the girl - she has no idea what she is letting herself in for and he will have her exactly where he wanted me - alone, no family, no support network, nobody to turn to, isolated. He couldnt break me and I hope to god for her sake he doesnt do it to her cause that will be very sad indeed.

| | Jesus. Sounds like you had a lucky escape. She\'ll hopefully see what he\'s like sooner rather than later. |

| | you\'re absolutely right, of course...but it\'s still difficult for you when the kids get an official step mum - particularly one that hasn\'t been around all that long...theres a kinda sense of someone encroaching on your \'territory\'...but you seem really happy and settled in your own life.... |
