Oh my poor feet

Next time I get a good idea like wandering around London for 10 hours somebody slap me.....or at least tell me to take a pair of extremely comfy shoes
We arrived in London and booked into our suave hotel which was lovely - lazed about for a bit and then went to our night out which was a great night. It was good to see all my mates again and they all loved Kev. We left earlier than anticipated cause we didnt want to be wandering around London with hangovers so after a nice breakfast at the hotel the next morning off we went on our sightseeing tour. We took the underground to Tower Bridge, paid a fortune to get into The Tower of London and spent 2 hours wandering about in there - most notable exhibit being the torture room where you get to see recreations of such beauties as the rack and the Scavengers Daughter methods of torture....looked damn sore I can tell you. A fter a swatch at the crown jewels which I wasnt that impressed by to be fair we headed off over Tower Bridge and along the Thames walkway and we walked for miles all the way up to Big Ben and Parliament, stopping for a go on the London Eye and crossing every bridge we could find. Then we walked all the way back again to the underground and headed up to Victoria where we found food stuffs and pubs and we just parked our arses there till the bus was leaving.
We had a lovely day really....no kids screaming (other than the ones that didnt belong to me
), no rush home, just a nice relaxing day and the weather held nice for us too which was a bonus. I now have blisters on my blisters and my legs are aching. I slept some on the bus home but will never again travel to London on the bus - poor Kev was too tall to get comfy even though we had two seats each all to ourselves. I am now totally shattered and going to bed
