Just took my wee lass to the cinema to see Son of the Mask. Was rather long at 2 hours and after the first half hour the novelty had well and truly worn off and the humour was getting a little on the repetative side. Alan Cumming was the best character of the whole movie as Loki, the God of Michief but with a cast of terrible actors to work with he could have been at his worst and he would still have been the best thing in the whole file. The masked dog v\'s son of mask scenes were reminiscent of a Tom and Jerry movie with one trying to dispose of the other in all manner of fashions. The storyline had so many holes in it, it was positively seive like but its a kids movie so most of the plot goes right over their heads anyway. Caitlyn laughed her head off the whole way through it and in true 5 year old style managed to embarress me at least twice, once by yelling \"ouch right in the wullie\" as a child headbutted his dad in the balls onscreen, causing much laughter from the 3 rows directly behind us, and once to announce to the theatre that she needed \"to pee\" causing at least 5 teenage girls in front of us to snigger!!

Anyway she enjoyed herself and that was the point
