Aaarghhh the itching

Posted 18th October 2007 at 12:46pm by Hevs
Don't worry it's not anything naughty or sexually related - it's this damn head of mine which is itching like hell. This must be what it feels like when one has head lice, but head lice can be killed and removed - itches from scars just have to be put up with. And my leg! Oh my god I fear I may actually scratch it right off if I don't stop clawing at it. I have the Dr this afternoon and will be asking, nay pleading, for something to remove the itch as I actually cannot stand it any longer and it's making me cranky.

On the plus side I have been searching for my next tattoo. I have one on my inside wrist on my left arm and I want something on the opposite wrist. So this will be tattoo number 5. I feel that I need something to replace my nose piercing which was yanked from my nose when I had my accident - I though the hospital had removed it but someone found it lying on the yard covered in blood after the ambulance took me away.

My son is working towards his Dux at school and he has now decided on the subject he wishes to do his paper on. He has decided to cover the entrance procedure for the British Army, Basic Training and all that, which, considering I was in the army, is something that I can contribute to and help him with. He initially wanted to do World War II but I talked him out of it as I feel that it's a huge subject for an 11 year old to be covering for a school project. He has already knicked my Oath of Allegiance and my Royal Signals badge and lanyard and I am sure I will have to contribute further items from my collection but what the hell, it's for a good cause.
