Forum is playing funny buggers with me in the office at the moment... this entry might not appear.

Not much of any interest to report in the old journal. Work has been as work is this week, the usual routine of people going out of their way to piss me off apparently. Apart from the aforementioned bullshit from this morning, I had a collection manager go completely off his head at me for politely asking him not to interrupt my staff and perhaps I could help him. Things that make me sick

To talk about \'the office\' again, one thing I really despise is office politics, the mud-slinging aspect that makes people think they are worth their job. I can usually keep myself clear of it, instead choosing to vent my frustrations on internet message boards or by screaming in my sleep, but you can\'t always. It\'s bad enough when you get stuck with it, but when it involves higher-ups trying to force you into saying things you don\'t want to so they can have their precious \'ammunition\'...

Had flu, very sick, cancelled gig, watched lots of movies, got better, came back to work, work sucks, Balder\'s Gate and Gothic 2, antisocial behaviour, cut down on coffee intake, parents paying for driving lessons, not sleeping too good, spending too many hours on the phone to Janette, so much to do... oh my God, so much to do... ready to ankle this...

Something I realised.

If one day I decided to just lose the plot and start shooting up this place, let\'s say with a couple of Uzis or something... the blame would be squarely placed on the fact that I enjoy video games and heavy metal. In fact, the finger of blame pointing at that fact would probably belong to people that look and act much like the \'director\' types that are rapidly making me lose the rag right now.

Ford Financial - \'Well done to Gary Baker and Nick Baxendale\' says the company-wide email from another fucking idiot arsehole director fuck to everyone.

Yeah, well done to two people who have been with the company for 5 minutes and DIDN\'T break their backs and lose several night\'s sleep over this monstrosity of a client and their hopelessly incompetent technical staff in the last year to get the job done. No well done to the guys that did actually have to through the above. ...
