body > | Posted 23rd January 2003 at 12:57pm by Stu Animaniacs was a great show. Me and Meech used to watch it religiously, he even made a Wakko model out of a brick.
I'm thinking I'll have another go at giving up the fags this weekend. I'm going to have a heart attack before I'm 30 the way I'm going, waste of money anyway. Maybe if I quit, it'll motivate Janette to quit too (yeah right), worth another shot I suppose.
I've had a fucking great MiNUS3-related idea, best I talk to Cuff before I go any further though,... | From Myth To Laughter | | Comments 0
| | Posted 23rd January 2003 at 12:09pm by Stu I'm so tired today, no amount of coffee seems to be pulling me out of that just-woken-up sleepy haze... better snap out of it soon, things to do.
Decent enough night last night. I managed to get home and have time to switch on that stupid lighthouse, which was nice. Headed out to the gig, only armed with guitar and pedal this time, it's good when you don't have to worry about transporting a whole ton of gear, not that I'm ever particularly happy about having to depend on using another... | From Myth To Laughter | | Comments 0
| | Posted 22nd January 2003 at 4:42pm by Stu ... so sings Ginger on the Wildhearts B-Side 'Move On' right now on my cheap PC speakers, as I sit here in the office waiting for 5 o'clock once again... and after a day like the one I've had today, it's almost like he's trying to tell me something.
I've got some pretty damn big life-altering decisions to make pretty damn soon, and I don't like it. Either way I go, someone's going to be upset about it. And one way or the other, I know I'm going to hurt myself to varying degrees...... | From Myth To Laughter | | Comments 0
| | Posted 21st January 2003 at 1:57pm by Stu Currently enjoying the new Wildhearts CD singles (CD1 & CD2 for 'Stormy In The North, Karma In The South) I got at lunchtime there. I like... lots of big riffs, catchy hooks, shouty bits, singalong bits, melodies, more big riffs, then some more big riffs just in case the other big riffs weren't big enough... typical 'B-Sides are better than most band's A-Sides' stuff too, just like they do best.
This reminds me of when I was a teenager, taking time off school to come into... | From Myth To Laughter | | Comments 1
| | Posted 21st January 2003 at 12:21pm by Stu I'm in a bit of a jam.
Mayor Tortimer decided the other day he fancied a bit of a vacation, and I whole-heartedly agreed with him, the silly old bugger doesn't even seem to ever know what day it is these days. Unfortunately, he asked me to take over the task of switching on the light in the lighthouse until he comes back... and it has to be done at some point between 6pm - 10pm every day until he comes back, on the 25th.
So far so good, it's not like I mind doing... | From Myth To Laughter | | Comments 4
