But I'm kinda bored waiting for nothing to happen here, so I'll write some nonsense anyway.
Went to Janettes last night. Another night in, but we'll make up for it over the next week now I've been paid. Not that I have any reason to complain about a quiet night in (it was actually quieter than most, I was relaxed & asleep before midnight for the first time in years... cool), but we can't stay in all the time...
Ah, that's better. Now that's out the way, let's see if I can write a journal entry that doesn't go off on some rant or other...
Pretty uneventful couple of days... I really don't have the money to go out or anything at the moment, which is a bummer because there's been a few good gigs happening this week that I'd like to have been at (DBS last night, for example). I get paid my mid-month tomorrow, but I have to hand some of that out for rent etc... so I'll be pretty much strapped...
People can be so unbelivably stupid, you can swear your IQ drops just standing near them.
Today's stupid people - train passengers.
I'm not a 'morning person', unfortunately. Mostly these days to do with the fact that I'm a bit of an insomniac and tend to still be awake during the wee small hours of the morning, but I've always been that way. Takes me forever to get to sleep, takes me forever to wake up properly once I get to sleep... so first thing in the morning...
(Note to anyone reading this: This isn't a 'review' or anything. I sometimes write these things for the MiNUS3 website, and are meant purely to be taken as a journal, mostly for my own use. I have the memory of a goldfish and it's good to read back on this stuff... if anyone else reads it, fair enough, just don't come hassling me about how sad I am for reviewing my own band, because this isn't a review.
