Go or Stay

Well, it's official. Ive been offered the job. They're just waiting for my answer. Spoke to 'em on the phone yesterday and got all the relevant information for me to make an informed decision. They'll call back either tonight or over the weekend.

Im inclining more towards yes than no at the minute. Job hating/weather hating and general miserability i making it really easy to imagine buggering off for pastures new (and warmer from what ive heard).

He, of course, is trying to be supportive but isn't really happy about it. The whole "you coud look for a job here easier from Devon than from Glasgow" comment showed that. Kinda irritated me actually. As if I would take a job on the recommendation of a friend then let her down by buggering off at the first opportunity.

It's just one more indication that things between us just aren't quite ... right. Tired of being so careful not to say things and everything being implied so as not to seem like anything is 'concrete'. Am starting to think Ive made a really really big mistake. I hope im wrong, I really do. I'd hate to lose my oldest and closest friend over something stupid.

Man Im tired.
