I completely forgot ...

... how hard relationships can be. Especially relationships in which you live in two completely different times. I like my early mornings and getting to be finished by early afternoon. It means I can get things done (and I always miss rush hour ). He doesn't like his job but he's been doing it for 7 years so nightshift is ingrained. My sleep pattern is fucked trying to accommodate him - his is fucked trying to accommodate me. He seems to think it'll work out when I move into my own place but Im not seeing what'll be different cept my room'll have big windows and I can finally make arrangements to ship my drumkit down.
Maybe Im just being pessemistic - i've been in a funny mood for the last day or two. Can't see wood for the trees as my grandmother would say. I know i can't expect to have a new life right off the bat but ... I guess I was being unrealistic when I imagined what it'd be like when I moved. Apparently Im still 4 in that respect. Maybe im just stroppy cos im tired and my back hurts and ive spent the last two days mulching - never fun.
On the up side - Im going to see the Black Keys at Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight. Sounds like it'll be a good gig.
