Fucking hell. Just ... fucking hell.

Okay the venue wasn't the best (The Queen Elizabeth Hall), okay the sound wasn't anywhere near as good as it could have been and sure Mr Tibet himself was in an 'introverted' mood BUT what an astounding evening.

He was clearly still reeling from the death of a close friend and that came screaming through in the performance. He was at his squirmy, writhing, soul-baring best and the whole experience was so intense I cried for the entire last hour of the gig.

Despite Om dropping out and missing Baby Dee's set due to boy idiocy I still got far more than I bargained for. Andrew WK on bass, Alex Neilson on drums, Baby Dee playing keyboard and guest appearances from Anthony and The Johnsons and Marc Almond.

I would have loved to see them in a smaller venue but I fear I've missed my chance with that one. A genuinely moving and emotional experience.
