Yau-Man wrote me back!

I don't know if anywhere in the UK airs the North American version of Survivor (and I think the UK version got canceled years ago), but it's a hot property here, as we reach the series finale of Survivor: Fuji.

I can't stand it, but Janette's hooked on it and forces me to watch it with her. Last night I was tinkering on my laptop and for one reason or another decided to Google some Survivor nonsense to annoy her while it was on. I stumbled across a profile page of Yau-Man Chan, a funny little old Chinese man who is the series favorite to win this year, on the website of the university he works for. To wind up Janette, I decided to send some nonsense to the email address listed on the page, I wrote the lyrics to 'We Are The Champions' but of course with the word 'We' replaced with 'You'. Then I promptly forgot I did it.

Today, Yau-Man wrote me back thanking me for my support. My life may not yet be complete, but we sure as hell got a big laugh out of it.

Not as good as the thank-you email I got back from Tracy Townsend way back when I wrote a big rant to Devin on the subject of him lacking a penis on the cover of the 'Infinity' album, but amusing to me all the same.

Yes, my life really has become this awesome!
