Suddenly Sober

Am I fuck, I just have that song (by pist.on, more people should like them) stuck in my head. Nurofen + whatever else I threw down my throat tonight = not good for me. I do feel quite focussed though, considering.

Look at me, I'm on the journal. As if this is what was needed as proof that Stu is a sad fuck. Hey, I got over it years ago, so like I give a fuck. Anyhow, I don't like falling asleep in this state, and I have fuck all else to do at the moment. Drink me some "sobering" coffee, read some stuff I'll forget by morning, pass out, fail miserably in getting to work in the morning. Rawk 'n' roll.

Hoo ha!

Gig was strange. Me and Posh thought it was dreadful. Cuff didn't say much, but seemed to enjoy it. Jamie seems to think it was pretty good. People (even complete strangers) kept telling me they loved it. No idea what to make of it... all things considering (no rehersal and shit) it probably went quite well. I suppose I had a fun night anyway, hung out with lots of cool people, had a few laughs. Guess I shouldn't stress about the night too much, some cool people said some cool things to me tonight so I guess I should enjoy it, even if I do want to spend some more time with all the cool people I like spending time with instead of having to sober up and go to work in the morning.

Summing up the night: really cool, but strangely wrong. Can't explain that. "Post-gig state" I guess. I get it even after the best of gigs, I think it's because "real-life" kicks in after the last song.

Ho hum writing in this journal at this time of night in this state sucks actually. Away ye go and pester some badgers or something, nothing to see here.

Going for a piss, anyway.
