I heard they suck live

Feeling a bit better today, not so much ready to vomit or poo, not in as much pain... cramps have lightened up a bit too, though they still come now and again. Hopefully I'm over the worst of the past fortnight, and I can get back to getting myself into shape. Or at least, I can make a start.

Didn't do much last night after signing off... watched 'Panic Room', which was pretty good. Directed by the same guy that did 'Fight Club', which is one of my favourite movies. Good stuff.

Trying to get my plate cleared here in the office so I can take the day off for my Gran's funeral tomorrow without worrying about stuff here. Of course, I can't be bothered finishing things... suprise, suprise. This healthy double dose of Wildhearts and Sick Of It All tunes gets me going though, I love having my choice of tunes on in here.

Feeling the need to find bigger and better ways to get people into the band... occasionally playing good shows sometimes isn't good enough. Went with Cuff at lunchtime there to look at the cost of banners... a nice big Minus3 logo behind us could be cool, I figure giving the impression of professionalism might be a good trick. Wanted to check out the cost of printing some CD covers properly, but we couldn't find the place and didn't have time. Best sort it soon, it's holding us back from sending it places we'd consider worthier than the local pub... example, Paul says C1 are looking for a copy (wohoo!), word-of-mouth is a great thing. Dunno... really time to make the effort, if I'm letting this band be a deciding factor in what I'm doing with my life in the near-term, I damn well better make it worth it. We shouldn't be playing good shows sometimes, we should be playing white-hot blinders all the time, and more often than not that's down to me. Time to make this thing worth people's time and money...

And stuff.

Going to Janette's tonight. I'm not there much anymore, she's always at mine. There's no cool stuff at hers, apart from her herself. But...
