The continuing adventures of Chuck Wagonwheel

Just waiting for the motivation to get stuck into this outstanding workload I have, it'll come soon enough... in the meantime, journal.
My Gran's funeral yesterday, it was a nice day, and a very sad one. A real testament to how much her children, and her children's children, meant to her... and how much she meant to them. Not much else I can say about it really... she'll be sorely missed, even by me (the 'bad' grandson, also the only one who's an adult, or supposed to be). After the services and the get-together afterwards, the family headed back to my Gran's house for a drink, it was nice to see my Mum and Aunt & Uncle finally relax a little. My Aunt had dug out a few boxes of photographs, there was stuff in there from when my Gran was a kid, to my Mum's early years, pictures of me as a wein, it was pretty cool. I've said it before (and I really should say it to the right people), but my family means a lot more to me than I ever show...
My Gran left all the grandkids some money, which I will not be wasting, against my usual nature. I'm thinking I might get my eyes fixed... she'd be glad to know I'm spending it on something worthwhile like that, I'm sure. And that's the end of that subject.
Janette came over to mine when I went home to keep me company, which was nice. I really do love that girl... and I really should explain to the world what the problem is. Maybe later. Helped her put together a CD of music for some dancing thing she's doing at her school placement today. I even managed to convince her to stick an Ozzy track on there, I rock. I'll teach her aw aboot the rawk yet...
Stomach is... behaving. Had a chat with my Dad about it, and he reckons it all points to me having a stomach ulcer, and that I should get it checked out soon just in case. Makes sense, and he's a man in the know so I probably should. It's not too bad at the moment, though... doesn't hurt so much, not running to the toilet so much, I'm even starting to eat properly again (in the nick of time, I think starvation might have killed me). We'll see how it stands up to "the weekend of rawk" that's coming up...
Going to see Roy 'Chubby' Brown at the SECC tonight with some friends. Some really offensive humour should be good for a chuckle, and this show's been re-scheduled from about 2 or 3 years ago (!), so it damn well better be funny. I could do with a laugh.
Payday today, I might pop out later and pick up a few albums I still need to get. The new Therapy? one is a must, since I'm going to see them tomorrow... heard some good things about it, too.
But now, going for a cigarette, then time to knuckle down and get to work... I guess.
