Cash money bling bling

I'm aw' aboot the money at the moment, or the saving of. No real reason, I just want to get a whole lot better at keeping money in my pocket... I earn more money than most of my friends, don't have much to pay in the way of rent and stuff, yet always seem to have less than everyone else.
So, Saturday morning, quick walk round to Farmfoods and I had a full fridge/freezer of groceries for about £16.00, that'll keep me in meals for at least a fortnight. I usually spend that amount a day on junk food, especially if Janette's around and we're eating junk food... so, good stuff. I'm aw' aboot the bargain, couldn't believe how cheap I can get some stuff. I even managed to get up early enough this morning to make myself some lunch to bring to work with me, instead of wasting the small fortune I usually do. How very rock 'n' roll of me...
I'm well proud of myself for not spending stupid amounts of money just because it was payday the other day, too... usually my attitude is "I've got it, so I'll spend it" (especially when I'm feeling depressed, which I am at the moment though I won't go into that), leaving me too short to buy anything that's actually worthwhile. I'd like to get my eyes fixed properly. I'd like to buy a new PC. I'd like to get myself some new gear for the band. I'd like to wipe out my credit card debt. I'd like to learn to drive and buy a car. Etc etc... ain't gonna happen if I keep wasting money on shit I don't need... I was chuffed at lunchtime there, me and Cuff went all round the record shops, games shops, even took a walk up to Forbidden Planet... all places I'd quite happily throw an entire month's wages at in one go. Didn't spend a penny. My plan is to live from month to month without ever touching my midmonth pay for any of the day-to-day stuff... it's do-able, if I can stick to being careful. The thing is, if I didn't waste my mid-months or my profit cheques, I'd have a ton in the bank by now...
Oh yeah, and I've gotta stop this smoking once and for all. Done fairly good this weekend, just got to make sure I quit completely, it's the only way to do it.
Bored with this again, maybe more later.
PS I'm fine Chris, how you doing?
