How ya been? It\'s been a while...

I really haven\'t had much of interest to write about in this thing, unless there\'s anybody out there honestly interested in reading about how I wipe my bum or toast my bread. No, I don\'t wipe my bum with toast.
Other than work I\'m rarely to be seen at the moment, in a desperate attempt to save cash. Not something I\'m particularly good at, maybe a good cause will do the trick though. Spending most of my free time lounging around, talking to my girl on the phone, and mucking around with my PC... got a bit of a fascination with Neverwinter Nights on PC at the moment, especially since I\'ve got this fancy broadband now so I can go online and geek out with other... geeks. I still have no idea what a \'kobold\' is though, so I\'m not totally lost to the world of beardy role-players. It\'s a good timewaster, PC games usually require a lot more time and not much money... the Gamecube\'s gathering dust now though so it\'s getting sent over to Janette soon, no money to waste on games for it anyway.
Blah blah zzz.
The most exciting thing that I\'ve done recently is of course the Forum Gig on Saturday there. Have to admit, I was getting kinda skeptical about it as the day got closer... with the repeated losing of bands 5 minutes after booking them, the night clashing with T In The Park, etc... we finally got Chris to do some acoustic numbers between Japan 4, Mangara and Yer Maw\'s sets. Thankfully, it was a big success. Everything went as smoothly as you could hope (and thanks for that goes to each of the performers as well as me & John), we got lots of people in the door, and actually made a tidy profit from the whole night, which of course went to the bands (\'What? We\'re getting paid? I don\'t understand!\' being a common response... heh. Sometimes, the problems with the local scene are painfully obvious). All in all, job\'s a good\'un. And I got drunk and never randomly fell asleep, which was nice.
Work sucks. If I didn\'t need the money...
Hmm. I guess I\'ll be back at this whenever anything interesting happens.
