Why write one big entry, when I can just do lots o

Another day, another 8 hours of hell. So here I am on the internet again...
In fairness, it's not so much that the place is bugging me today (though Naismith is getting a fucking slap if he doesn't change his attitude... and not to be antisocial or anything, but I wish Lapper would shut up), I'm just really tired and can't be bothered with it. Everyone's buzzing around me trying to fix some thing or other, my boss fucked up the Citrix servers last night, no idea what he was doing other than being a fuckwit. Me, I'm happy to sit here and ignore it all... too tired for this today.
On the bright side, I've made it in on time two days in a row... I can't remember the last time I did that. In fairness, I started at 11:30am yesterday, but that's not the point... the deal is that Janette says she'll quit smoking if I manage to make it to work early for a week, which I'm all for because I'd like to try and quit smoking again just now - it's just impossible when she's around, she smokes too much...
Decided about 5 minutes before knocking off for the day last night to go to Janettes for a while. I didn't take much convincing... her and Laura cooked me up a big plate of pasta for my dinner (first thing I'd eaten since my 'thanksgiving' dinner the night before, I really should sort out my eating habits), watched some pish on the TV, snuck away for some privacy when what seemed like every other student in Glasgow turned up. I'm not writing what I did next, because it'll make anyone reading this really jealous...
We eventually decided that because she didn't have any classes today till 11 (so could get the train to Glasgow with me this morning and still have plenty time to get ready) to go over to mine to see how Meech was doing. Got there about 10pm, he was just going to bed... he didn't look to good at all. Haha.
Called Cuff to see if he had sorted us out for rehersal this week. All our usual haunts are booked all week so he's gonna look for somewhere we don't usually go... I don't really mind. He also said he's asked big Steven if he fancied coming along to a couple of rehersals to try out playing some rhythm guitar for us (we've been talking about this for ages... we used to be a 4-piece anyway), apparently Steven's got a bit of a hard-on for it and can't wait to have a go. Hmm. I'm both looking forward to the comfort of having a second guitarist to give us a bit of a boost live and to make life much easier for me onstage, and as far as I know he is good... but on the other side of the coin, it could just outright suck and just not work. We'd obviously play the gigs we've got coming up as we are just now, no way I'd let him up there with us until I was convinced we were 100% ready, but I dunno... I fear change. I'm sure it'll be the best thing we've done since the last great thing we done.
Off on a tangent there... anyway, eventually got John off the phone (he went on about a whole bunch of other stuff but I can't remember a word of it now) and settled down to watch the rest of Stanley Kubrick's 'Eyes Wide Shut' (what the fuck is the deal with that film?), went to bed. Woke up at 6:45am, and although I was up and about, I knew it was gonna be one of these 'I'm too tired to care' days...
Tonight, there's some stuff I should be doing. Laundry, probably, since all my clothes are still sitting unwashed in bin bags from moving. Shopping, like I was going to do last night before I went to Janettes, that'd be a good idea... there's literally nothing but a couple of crates of MGD in the fridge. And some other stuff... I dunno, I can't be bothered.
Time for a nicotine/caffeine fix. Lapper is talking again...
