Apart from Friday\'s shenanigans, I\'m having a bit of a lazy weekend all round, but that\'s fine this time because at least I\'m actually doing semi-important stuff like making an attempt to be clean (I have clean clothes now! Woo!), and I\'m not just sitting around on my arse till 6am playing video games.

Actually, most of my arse-sitting has involved watching the Simpsons... I\'ve watched so many episodes this weekend they\'re all kind of blending together. To watch every episode of the Simpsons ever made would take a person around 120 hours. That\'s a lot of Simpsons. Sat and watched a couple of episodes with Meech and Scruff while I ate my sar beni yesterday afternoon too, then both of them buggered off... somewhere. I think Meech actually went Christmas shopping then ended up in the pub again. *shrug*

Today I\'m burning a few more CDs to my PC since I got so far through them a couple of months ago and then didn\'t bother, hence the CDs lying all over the floor for so long. I still have about half of me and Meech\'s CD collection to get on here... you just don\'t realise how many CDs you own till you try to copy them all. I\'m chilling out with the Ramones this afternoon while I do this (and typing this journal entry, obviously), which brings me neatly to my next subject.

The Rockermost one has suggested putting together a Ramones tribute band for a one-off show before I leave. I\'d be Joey, Posh would be Johnny, Jen would be Dee Dee and we\'ll have to find someone to fill the drum stool. I\'m all for this idea... I\'ve been meaning do some kind of Ramones tribute for years (apart from the obviously \'tributes\' in the lyrics to a Minus3 song or two, that is), and it\'ll give me an excuse to actually do something with OTC. Being obscenely addicted to the Ramones as I am, I\'d love to do this, and I really want to get it off the ground. So that hopefully will be taking up some of my spare time in the next couple of months... I\'ll go out with a bang, since I really want Minus3 to blow off some cobwebs before then, and I\'m still intent on getting together with Posh and Cuff to play some acoustic sets. Rock and roll.

Similarly on-subject, apparently Janette is reminded of me when she checks out another girl\'s boobs (someone who works in Lewiscrap with her). I don\'t know what to make of that. I\'ll take the fact that the girl was wearing a tight-fitting pink Ramones girly tee to be nothing more than mere coincidence... it\'s aw aboot the boobs. Tell me, how\'s a man to react to that? Damn these girls with their boobs and their Ramones shirts that look like mine but in pink.
