Steady diet of nothing

Wow, what the hell kind of mood was I in yesterday? Some kind of weird rant writing mood by the looks of it.

I was over an hour late for work this morning... slept in because I forgot to switch my alarm on last night, woke up at the exact time I was meant to be leaving the house... oh well, would've been late anyway... signals at Glasgow Central were fucked or something so a 10 minute train journey actually took about 30-40 minutes... grr...

Missed Fugazi last night. No painkillers for me today, I think... maybe I didn't miss much, I'm hearing a lot of 'it was great... but it actually wasn't all that great' from people.

Actually spoke to Meech last night (when he came back from the Fugazi gig, bastard) for a bit for the first time since I walked away from him on Saturday night, or should I say, he spoke to me as if nothing had happened. I was sitting watching the Robocop 2 DVD from my box set, we had a strangely normal conversation about the movie... he made me a cup of tea, had a conversation about my dental problems, and other general small talk. Weird. We'll see how he reacts tonight when he comes home to find Janette sitting on the couch with me though... hahahaha.

Me and Janette were supposed to go to Cuff & Joanne's for dinner tonight but Cuff called last night to ask if we could make it Thursday instead because Bowie had bagged him a ticket for the Tenatious D gig tonight. How he isn't sick to death of that shite by now is beyond me (same goes for his strange Bowling For Soup infatuation... how can anyone listen to so much of that band without wanting to smash their stereo into tiny little pieces is beyond me... drives me mad just thinking about them these days. I'm gonna make Janette dinner tonight at mine instead, fuck knows what I'm gonna make though, I have about a fiver to my name till midnight, when I get paid. Maybe I can convince her to buy something from the new Indian that's opened down the street instead...

Stevo has the very first recorded MiNUS3 song on just now here in work... "3 Chord Hell". One of Meech's tunes from literally years ago. My God, it's utter pish... I can't believe we were proud of this shite at one point.

Eh... fucked up my PC at home last night, was too late at night to be bothered fixing it, it'll probably sit for months untouched now. Waste of money, that thing...

I'm getting stressed about Cuff's halloween party on Friday... everyone else going is totally into the whole dressing up thing, other than me and Janette. Call me an old miser, just can't be bothered with it (the dressing up thing, not the party itself). Plus Janette reminded me Mangara are also playing on Friday, so we'll be going to see them then going to Cuffs...

I'm hungry.
