What's the cheapest form of train travel in Glasgow?

Hay there!
I've just moved to Glasgow and i was wondering what the cheapest form of travel is on the train. I have to travel to and from dumbarton to glasgow city every day. Maybe a month pass is the the best idea? Any info would be much appreciated.

shoulda started a thread in the general chat section mate, barely anyone checks the blogs on here. i have no idea about trains, i get the bus
