| Re: Cathouse Saturday 23rd Feb 2008 Not really related, but I was in the Cathouse this Saturday.... bloomin' brill! Couldn't believe it when it was time to leave for the dratted bus.
Only my second time (both ever & this year).... am hoping to make my way there for many another visit.
Great atmosphere, playlist & people. Just love it.
I've got a question though.... are most of the people there regulars. It's just there was this big, very blond, guy and it'd be good if I might see him again on my trips up.
He was there with just one mate as far as I could tell. They spent half the night leaning on the bannister (downstairs) and then sparked into life and danced... is there the remotest chance you know who I mean? xx |

On a positive note, I guess the Cathouse is the place to be to avoid forum bangers.

| Re: Cathouse Saturdays See if Eric & Nicola could DJ the second room at, for example, the Classic Grand on Saturdays rather than them & the choice of very ABC trend muzak I'd be lovin them - Eric is ace and Nicola might not have the extreme breadth of rock knowledge Barry does but she knows a good dancin' tune and it sounds like a good pairing.
As it stands though I simply don't trust gaining entrance to the Cathouse due to being a vaguely high-profile altnation developer. Which saddens me cos Cathouse Kirsty is the best. |

| Re: Cathouse Saturdays hey,
we've got some goodies for you to get your mitts on this Saturday (1st March) at the Cathouse. Level 1
- relentless t-shirts
- horror dvd boxsets Level 2
- 4 sets of Panic! at the Disco tickets for their gig at the Carling Academy on Thursday 13th March
- signed Fall Out Boy merchandise (not sure what yet)
we'll also have the Jaeger girls kicking about the club doing their thing - shots ahoy!*
PLUS if any of you are off to the Sum 41** gig then hold onto your ticket stub as it'll get you into the Cathouse on Saturday for FREE!
cheers,
billy * but sadly not for me after the infamous billy ODs on Jaeger for his birthday incident of 2007
** alledgedly there's a possibility of them showing face at the Cathouse after the gig on Saturday - if that floats yer boat.

I've been banned for life more than twice and that may be skewing my perception of the arbitrary nature of entry, alongside my personal experience of CPL's haphazard communication between "the good guys" and head office's "good intentions". The perception for me tonight as one mate has a personal waiver from The Boss and another couple of mates have their employment questioned due to enjoying altnation/AN nights is that, for me, I'd be wise not to trust 100% - obv I'll just be "too drunk".
Thing is, Eric & Nicola are the only thing in Glasgow/Scotland right now I'd consider a good alternative to Barry as far as rawk n roll go, I fear much dilemma on Saturdy nights out based on whether my dancing shoes are docs or cowboy boots... |

| Re: Cathouse Saturdays Is it only free entry if you have a Sum 41 stub? I have it in my head that it was free entry all night for everyone. Mind you, I was rather inebriated when digesting this information. Hum...
