Oh toast.

I wove oo.

I am however, completely broken.

That odd pain in my side I chose to ignore is now pretty awful.

also: i count precisely one bad 90s dance tune (haddaway). i suppose you could count utah saints, although that mix is from this year

anyhow, best way to get stuff you like is just ask! just about everything on that list was a request...

When making requests, it helps to know that name of what it is one would like to request. I don't think I'd be able to hum them very well, but I hear a lot of music in clubs and forget many names that I'm told when I ask. I need to start carrying a wee notebook about! The stuff I can remember isn't really dancing material. Men Without Hats next time, though.
As for your surprise, it's me. My rock-like shelter is pretty tough. I haven't heard A LOT of music, even if it was on the charts.
Finally, I believe that the Vengaboys are also in the 'bad 90s dance' category too, but you seem to have left it off the list. We Like To Party was definitely played, I specifically remember rolling around on the verge of screaming and lamenting the horrors of my youth when it came on.

Re: DJ Toast - Glasgow Queen Margaret Union [22 Aug 08]

heh, yeah you're right about the vengaboys... it slipped off the list cos i cued it up more than once (only played it once obviously!) and seem to have deleted the actual occurrence as well as the dupes.

believe it or not i'm not always great with the names of bands / songs (see above ) which was fine back in the days of real vinyl when i knew i wanted to reach for the big green record halfway through the record box... harder now i just have lists of text to browse through... but anyway, i've become quite adept at deciphering requests like "the one that's quite loud in the middle, with a sort of guitar and a guy singing" etc so don't be shy of trying to find non-standard ways of requesting stuff.

Would be a much better song if that were the actual title.

Re: DJ Toast - Glasgow Queen Margaret Union [22 Aug 08]

i noticed that but lost the will to edit mistakes outta that list ages ago!

that's cos i had to convert the .crate file to a .xls, then a .txt, then edit out all the

&$//+<<. mp3otrkäptrkÜ

bits, and evidently missed a few.

or should i say, "missed a fewo" ?

also, someone photoshop chairman mao with facial hair and a les paul.
