I know there's faces in this comment and not everyone who's commented in this thread is being totally serious, but I think some of you are maybe over estimating the power of the Evening Times going out section a tad. Yes, the free publicity is nice, but it's not going to impact on the current punters or change the club. Neither Forbes or myself would let that happen as this music, this whole 'scene' is something we're both really passionate about, otherwise, we'd never have started up the club nights in the first place.

Plus, running on hands and knees would be painful, we'll need to make sure that doesn't happen

Well I ain't lying. I saw him twice in Glasgow, once in Dublin and again down south - each time the same scenario.
If he's actually DJing himself now, then that's fab. Good for him. But it don't make me liar simply cos he got his act together. The man's an alcoholic. Alcoholics are tres erratic.

I didn't call you a liar. I just found what you said hard to believe after my own experience (although, granted, the gig at the QM was at least five years ago, so perhaps things have gone downhill since then.)

Also, Barry, Forbes used to have dancing mince in his shoes? No wonder he got rid of it, it's probably start to smell after a while

Ahhh its all too confusing! Just annoys me how being "alternative" is important to some folk, if you're doing something just for the sake of being different when you actually don't have an interest in what you're doing, arent you just kinda lying to yourself? :o

I couldnt be bothered with all the hassle haha

Exactly, too many people out there have no idea what it is to be true to themselves so they end up stuck in a whole pot of misery.

Me, I enjoy the whole "alt scene" but I wouldn't go out and get myself pierced and tattooed just to fit the bill.
