| Bamboo 9th April. A proper thread instead of that big unwieldy one about the new prices etc. Unless there is one already and I just can't see it!
Who's out?
K, Prof and I should be in attendance after the FREE El Dog gig at Oran Mor.
Dave Hughes is also playing, I hear! Edit: Eh, not at the same gig, obviously.
All of this points to a BONZER EVENING at Bamboo in its new venue of NOT BAMBOO!

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. Never said I was going to the gig, Mr Duncan. 69p vodkas in Driftwood are a pretty tempting distraction. Might though.
Seeing as how Saturday is gonna be full of the total fucking nosebleeds I'll be giving that a bodyswerve and getting into a utter state at this. Got to save some cash for my holiday too so this'll be my last night out for a month or so.

But you found something else to moan about instead. Man, you are SUCH a Manics fan.

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. I wouldn't know...I'M ALWAYS ASLEEP!
You have listened to the US remix round at ours a good few times though. Guitars sound chunky as hell but a bit too reverby, in my opinion.
Also, first 3 folk to tell me a genuinely good joke at this get a jager. I've had a pure shite couple of weeks and need the lulz.

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. Yeah, I've listened to it once or twice at yours, and I had it on bootleg years and years ago. It's quite funny. Whoever did it has tried to make a big stadium rock album out of a clipped, tight-as-fuck post-punk record. It's hilarious. Pure Bon Jovi drum sound.

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. The first chorus on 'Yes' sounds great but by the time you get to 'Ifwhiteamerica....' it starts going downhill.

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. It was Graeme's inspiration for the mountains of reverb on our upcoming EP.

| Re: Bamboo 9th April. That's what it's going to be called actually.....'Mountains of Reverb'.
Front cover's Eddy pure crooning into a mic in the studio, Michael Bolton style.

Big pic of Chris Lee on the back. Or Jamie Sett preternaturally aged. Not sure yet.
