| Re: Free Friday - Times are tough They went there for the ten years when it was bearable?
I jest obviously, nah, its just gone downhill in the public perception a little bit in recent years, and thats represented most clearly on the forums which used to be the Cathouse forums. |

I'm out of the loop here with something - what's most folk here got against the Cathouse? | Don't sweat it, there will be at least 300+ people who don't really know each other. It's not a forum event. Forumers, albeit a percentage of the custom, are not a huge percentage of the custom. They do receive special treatment, be that guest lists, treatment, personal treatment, even more personal treatment, an ear for issues, etc. Clearly Forbes owns this forum and Barry was the instigator if not creator of the Cathouse and main focus of it for 17 years and director in the Classic Grand, so both have concerns if not parts to play and protect on the forum. Both are precocious with defending forumers, both will also listen to non altnation people and both will defend the club (Classic Grand).
As for what I have againt the cathouse...nothing. What I have against CPL is of course a different matter.

| Re: Free Friday - Times are tough Ok cool.
Yeah in part when on this forum reading through the threads it seems at times that walking into the Classic Grand could be like one of those old western bars; stranger from out of town coming in through the swing doors haha
I assumed most folk there would be altnation users.
RE the Cathouse - just curious as it gets a bad press here on this forum, and i'm not up your neck of the woods often, so don't know what's what. |

| Re: Free Friday - Times are tough Barry started the Cathouse with Michele (who's a mentor to all concerned with the Classic Grand) and Donald, Barry left after 17 yrs and started his own nights with Forbes (Ghostsuit), 9 months later, both + Luigi own their own venue. Brief synopsis but accurate and all you need to keep you up to speed. |

To be pedantic Mark, Forbes (with the aid of Barry) started this forum, which was a fanbase for Cathouse customers but was not official from CPL or the Cathouse. So, the Cathouse did not start this forum..Forbes did and he continues to maintain it, including all the financial aspects pertaining to it. |

'Pologies for any confusion. |

| Re: Free Friday - Times are tough There was no confusion Mark. I just wanted to make it clear that the Cathouse did NOT start this forum. Credit where it's due, that was down to Forbes. |
