| Pin Ups Ladies Night 2-Queens of Noize,Camera Obscura,Fangs PIN UP NIGHTS LADIES NIGHT 2
FRIDAY 27TH FEBRUARY
THE FLYING DUCK, 7 RENFREW COURT, GLASGOW, 9PM - 3AM, £4 ladies £5 gents
GUEST DJS - QUEENS OF NOIZE (BBC 6MUSIC/MTV2), TRACEYANNE & CAREY (CAMERA OBSCURA), MANDA RIN (BIS/DATA PANIK), VICTORIA BERGSTROM (THE CONCRETES/TAKEN BY TREES), SUSAN HAY (CLYDE 1), KIRSTIN & LAURA (POOCH)
LIVE - 3 OF GLASGOW'S BEST GIRL FRONTED BANDS, PAPER PLANES, FANGS, THE MISS'S
INDIE, PUNK, SOUL & ELECTROPOP ACROSS 2 ROOMS (WITH AN EMPHASIS ON SONGS BY LADIES) WWW.PINUP-NIGHTS.CO.UK
On the 27th we're having our follow up to last year's phenomenally successful Ladies Night ( http://www.pinup-nights.co.uk/galler...s.php?album=32 ) with a whole load of lady-based action – check out the line-up above!!
Ideally we'd loved to have made it free entry for ladies but in the absence of a sponsor girls will get in for a £1 cheaper than boys.
There will be a Goody Bag for the first 100 ladies to arrive and we will have a "Vintage Village" with vintage/jewellery/craft stalls between 9pm and midnight.
Last year this event attracted 75 more people than our current venue can actually hold, so snapping up advance tickets from the online shop at www.pinup-nights.co.uk is recommended.
Pictures of January's fairly mental Pin Ups involving Over the Wall, Asthmatic Scene, Hidden Masters, Friendly Fires and Florence and the Machine are now on the site (with more to follow in a few days).
And don't let all this lady-talk fool you into thinking we've gone soft - we're off now to eat some Yorkies with our bare teeth like the men we are.

Tell me, what you saying about Camera Obscura?
Alright, skimmed. Now, is it not illegal or at least unethical to let women in cheaper?

| Re: Pin Ups Ladies Night 2-Queens of Noize,Camera Obscura,Fangs Unehtical dual pricing...I suppose that's a more plausible complaint than the dude on the teenage fanclub forum foaming at the mouth about feminism like a weirdo...
I can't be bothered cracking out the Competition Law books but maybe you're right! Or perhaps it's more of a consumer issue?? Maybe we should ask Watchdog!
"Hello, is Nicky Campbell there? There's this club night in Glasgow that's charged burds a quid less for entry, cos it's a Ladies Night, and..." |

| Re: Pin Ups Ladies Night 2-Queens of Noize,Camera Obscura,Fangs No I don't think so, you asked if its "illegal or unethical" to let girls in for cheaper and I'm just trying to answer your question.
A less helpful answer would be "who cares, it's just a club night". |

| Re: Pin Ups Ladies Night 2-Queens of Noize,Camera Obscura,Fangs Illegal? Probably. Unethical? Not as long as I benefit. Competition Law? Definately not.
Really pissed that this was on the same night as Harlot, actually. |
