In was talking to one of the guys at work who's an MMA fan, discussing the fact that after it because accepted in boxing, you never see women fight MMA..
Little bit of research and there's quite a few of them.. who knew?
Found this last night tho'.. 
Wouldn't want to leave the bog seat up in her house...

There was a huge commotion when Cage Rage had the first womens match on a major UK show. Mostly because it was a one sided beat down, really pretty poor match making.
Rosi Sexton is one of the top women's players in the world and has been getting good press for womens MMA for a long time.

She's super slick on teh ground and one a few UK fighters doing well on the world stage.
Womens MMA has a solid following in Japan and is growing in popularity in the US. http://www.mmauniverse.com/articles/SS306 details some of the main players

I seen some highlights from Megumi Fujii, she's pretty good.

Women fighters are quite prominent in Muay Thai, still overshadowed by males though, which is always gonna be the case.

Kim Couture has got giant sized balls. I give her serious props for hanging on in there. It wasn' the mugged that the idiots on Sherdog made it out to be. She did fairly well with takedowns and on the ground all things considered.
