Tommy Carruthers - Rude Bastard?

So I've been training Muay Thai for going on 3 years now, and recently started MMA/BJJ. I recently crawled upon a link to Tommy Carruthers website via Sherdog.
So i emailed him asking about his school, if it was still open and went on to ask if a Thai Boxer and part time Mixed Martial Artist would be welcome in his gym. This was probably the most polite and formal email I've ever sent, as I had respect for the guy, he has skills. I even started a thread about him years ago.

I got a reply this morning stating simply "no". Nothing more, nothing less.

I thought I'd rant on here, to get rid of the fucking ragesteam, and to warn anyone else of this guys lack of respect or manners. He may be world renound for his JKD, but he's gone right down in my estimations.

Aye, but you'd think, since I have a decent grounding in MMA (which is essentially what JKD boils down to, albeit street fighting not a ring sport) he'd at least give me the time of day, or respond with some fucking manners. I agree he might not have time, as aapparently he's constantly on the move with seminars etc, but it takes 2 minutes to reply with something other than "no", he might aswell have not bothered.
I've read elsewhere that he's a total cunt in real life, so I feel secure in my assumptions.

Edit: I'm an idiot. I somehow didn't see the 'at users request' part and thought Forbes had removed it because Tommy Carruthers had 'been in touch', the inference being that he'd threatened him

Unless the AltNation user Tommy has piped up in defence of this guy, then "after contact from Tommy" still means that this Carruthers guy must have seen this thread and spoken to either Forbes or Dyno about it. That's good drama, right there, someone spill the beans! Well, unless the guy e-mailed back saying something like "sorry my earlier e-mail was so short, bro, I was actually typing from my iPhone while helping old ladies cross the road and didn't really have the time to give the correct amount of respect and recognition to a fellow martial arts warrior" and Dyno asked for the post edited as a result of a change of heart.
