| Any currently running Krav Maga classes?
I've got some folk coming to Section 8 from Israel next month, asking me if I know of any Krav Maga classes they could sit in on... Anyone know if there's anything they could go to around the 14th of next month?

Of course any self defence/martail art is pretty much useless without alive resistance and a certain degree of physical fitness.

I was a brown belt in ju-jitsu when I was about fourteen, and was pretty fit.
Then I discovered booze, rock and drugs.

I was a Karate Blackbelt till about 18, then fell out of it after I got ill.
Really miss it, expecially being fit and all.
Still, that video was pretty interesting.

Might depend on the school though.

Might depend on the school though. | There didn't seem to be any age restrictions when I was doing it. They were kids classes, though, which I was in, (which was under 16). I got my brown belt grading, though, then turned to the dark side shortly afterwards.

When exactly would the folks be coming across from Israel?
I'd heard the other day from someone who'd spoken to a guy called Simon Leila about this. He did something up in the Jewish Youth Centre in Giffnock I think.
Soon as I hear any more on this (classes going to be starting, dates, times, costs, etc.) I'll post it.
I was initially interested in doing this but have been pretty busy and don't think I'd have the time to do it, but, for those who ARE interested, I'd said to the guy who's now looking into it to get back to me with anything
