| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 TUF is a major learning curve, it's a bit ridiculous to start thinking who would match Lesnar, Nog etc.
3 fights in too, we haven't seen everyone either!
Was a bit of a shite fight again, can't argue with it being stopped really, but on the other hand, I could see a point if Herb didn't stop the fight. Another fight Roy failed to impress in.
Lets hope Rampage get's a win under his belt soon.

| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 Failed to impress? I don't really get this.
He said he wanted to progress with as little damage as possible, he said before the fight he'd get him in a crucifix. He also talked about hitting his opponent has soft as fuck, while counting the punches in front of the ref, so they have to stop the fight. That's a fucking pacificitic approach! Legit though, he clearly identified how he'd like to win the fight and did it. Fair enough, it wasn't particularly entertaining, it was very unsatisfying but he did his job.

| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 I only seen the fight thats on this thread, haven't been able to watch the episode, so I didn't hear any of that. So, I retract my statement if he did say exactly how he was going to win before the fight, through soft punches, getting him in a cruficix and punching the top of his head, while clearly protecting slices face with his belly.

| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 It was all alluded to, even Rampage earmarked Nelson's belly as a legit threat (quite rightly).

But anyway, yeah, I think Roy will do ok in this.
He's been in with Arlovski (and might have beat him if it wasn't for the ref standing them up when Roy had him in s-mount!)
Might get knocked out in his next fight, but we'll see how it goes. Quote:

So, no.. | Fair enough. Have a swatch at that.
His stand-up is pretty good, might not have shown in against Kimbo, but he set out not to get in a war with him.

| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 I thought Couture was a bit dull, until he fucking spanked Tito Ortiz. Literally.

| Re: Nelson/Slice fight on TUF 10 Thing about Couture's most recent fights is that they, as a contest on their own, are pretty dull, but because the fans care so much about him and are so vocal, there's always a great atmosphere which gives the illusion of (or creates) a great fight, of seeing something special.
