This is by Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev, who recently had a quintessentially superb run on Daredevil.

Despite being dubious about a comic based on Halo (Which, being fair, has pretty much fuck-all story to start with.) I'll probably check it out.

I can think of loads of good media tie-ins. The first few volumes of both Aliens and Predator from Dark Horse are excellent wee chunks of science fiction. The Terminator series was pretty good too.

Without having read it, I think I can say that the best thing about the new Halo comic is that it gave birth to the interview where the gent who edits it accuses Bendis of getting Maleev to sign on as Bendis just so it looks like he isn't absolute shite at team battle.
