I've been warming up for slagging this for a while based entirely on the gayness of the concept and Bono's involvement but I'm gonna cut them some slack if they actually go ahead and cast someone attractive as Mary Jane.

Hugh Jackman performed mainly in musicals before X-Men and James Marsden's done a few so this might not be as garish as it sounds. LOTR and Wicked demonstrate that you can have the stage effects to make a show like this work. If anything Im curious to see how this goes.
