Only approached this due to Sean Phillips doing the art. I never expected much but I found the whole thing lacking. The end was strange. Who were the twats that lived on the space rock?

Magneto's Acolytes and Forge of the X-Men is memory serves me well. I actually quite enjoyed it, if only to see Marvel characters in a twisted manner. Banner's stomach being torn to shreds after he reverts from being the Hulk was a highlight.

I think if I'd paid for it I would have been a bit miffed but I borrowed it so it was a wee fun read (which puts in the upper echelons of books that Marvel have produced recently).

stick it on sale on ebay or something!

I reckoned it'd be pretty hit or miss, so was going to wait until some other person read it first and told me if it was any good

The artwork was pretty much the main appeal for me tbh anyway

I'm a sucker for pretty things.

This is pretty much the ONLY reason I own some TopCow stuff

Like everyone else I found it fairly amusing though inessential, but love the art.

The Fantastic Four arc(s) by Millar that gave birth to it were better written but were unfortunately saddled with Greg Land's horrible art.

I'm prob going to get shot for this, but I love it. The ending to Marvel Zombies 2 left me thinking "What the fuck", but overall, I loved how screwy it was.

Not the best, but certainly not the worst from Kirkman. The art was very cool though.

No need to apologise for liking anything that involves Sean Phillips. Especially if it involves Spider-Man eating Aunt May and Mary Jane.

I've ordered that art book he did with Fegredo that Mark was going on about. Should have it in the next few days.

Tell me what the sketch/art book is like. The only sketch book I bought was the Mignola one which was limited to 2000 or something.

Criminal v 3 is a change of pae but worth its short read
