The other thing that's nominated a few times that I keep meaning to get is that MF Grimm autobiography.

Windsor-Smith is a great artist. His evolution on Conan was amazing in such a short spae of time. He also drew my favorite Daredevil story, Anne Nocenti's first issue I think.

Grimm's a bit odd, I didn't know what to make of it. I love Scalped, hopefully it won't get cancelled like all Vertigo seems to these days.

In 1968, Windsor-Smith travelled to New York and presented himself at the offices of Marvel Comics. A suitably impressed Roy Thomas gave him the job of drawing an issue of X-Men, but with no studio and having been kicked out of his hotel, Windsor-Smith was forced to do the work sitting on park benches. That category isn't even up for discussion for me given that the 'Daredevil' omnibus collects not one but two of my favourite series ever.

60s comics written by Stan Lee make me giggle for all the wrong reasons. Yes they're of a time and a place but I can't get over how awful most of his stories and scripts are. Especially Daredevil
