I find that GM is either good, or really really shit. I can never forget the day I saw him in FP showing a girl comics he'd written "here's another one I did, it's pretty special". This serves as a great example of how up his arse he often is.

Apparently Quitely is gonna be the new artist on GMo's run.

Thank fuck. I like it a lot more than most folk, but have really hated that it's been lumbered with generic superhero art (except for the 'International Batmen' run, of course). I've always said the general reaction to his run on Batman would have been hugely different if JH Williams or Quitely had drawn the whole thing. Now we'll see.

Frank Quietly will fucking batter him if he doesn't get his shit in gear. Maybe he's just been treading water, trying not to introduce any plot elements until Quietly was free.

His run makes a lot more sense if viewed in this manner.

Doesn't the omega beam transport the zapped to some sort of machine hell? As far as I can remember from Miracle Man. I don't envision Bats as dead anyway. Fuck it, Bruce is still in at least four titles every month for the near future.

There wouldn't be a body though. I think they've deliberately left themselves no get-out clause. Which will make it even more shit when they bring Bruce Wayne back in a year or two.

Latest issue of Nightwing heavy hints at him stepping into the old mans shoes and discounts the use of the lazarus pit.
