I seriously doubt it. I saw news stories and shit online about this, so I decided to check it out...and they mostly say he might be killed off. In other words they don't fucking know. And even if they do kill him off, all they need to do is chuck him in the old Lazarus pit. Meh.

Lol at posting this now considering a) the storyline concludes, like, this week and b) GMo said months and months ago that the 'R.I.' doesn't refer to Bruce Wayne dying, that it's symbolic and 'a fate worse than death'... My money's on Bats being locked up in Arkham where he belongs, the Joker finally having been proven right...

I know reaction to 'R.I.P' and Grant's run in general has been extremely mixed, to say the least, but I've loved every second of it (Ra's Al Ghul crossover aside).

Yeh i think it's more of the end of something as opposed to an actual death and from what i'm led to believe this is all building to some sort of battle for the identity of batman between Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne. Many hints in the latest Nightwing run that Grayson is takin over as Batman. That and i've read a few different things about a storyline entitled battle for the cowl next year.
Saw a few different news sites picking this up as a news story last couple iof days. It's hilarious when a comic franchise gets big exposure form a film that they start reporting storyline happenings in the press ala Peter Parker's revealing himself in Civil War around the time of Spiderman 3's release.

Batman isn't going to die. Morrison's Batman is stupid and I have very little time for it. The story is twisty and turny enough but in the end nothing will change, give it long enough and status quo will return.

Not that long ago Bats was outlawed by GCPD, low and behold Gordon comes back and it's the same again. Batman breaks his back, comes back. Buggers off and leaves Grayson to it, comes back. Disappears when there's an earthquake, comes back. Disappears for a year to hide in a cave, comes back. SEEN IT ALL BEFORE!

I hope Grayson doesn't become Batman as his character is arse.

All the Bat titles are cancelled or on hiatus.
