The John Wyndham rip-off in the arc before was at least entertaining. |

| Re: What comic did you last read? Millar really needs to spend less time producing films and more time on his books.
I'm sure his wife, kids and bank manager disagree, mind.

| Re: What comic did you last read? Hah, just got that the Marquis of Death is the catatonic dude from Marvel:1985.
Who the fuck is the apprentice then? Jerry Goodman?
Actually, who cares, its been crass rather than clever reading. |

Hawkeye has been really good, and UTOPIA has again been excellent this week. Not sure whether I love or loathe YOUNG AVENGERS; really liked the idea in the first issue, but now its got a bit stale... Young Masters are strong enough as an idea that they could have just had a paper of their own without the DARK REIGN thing as a backdrop, and without the Young Avengers facing off against them... Just an opinion...

Anyway, Claremont dropped a bloody bomb in X-Men Forever #3.
The new mini series, Uncanny X-Men: First Class has started off pretty well.
And the Dark Reign: Skull Kill Crew is still living up to my expectations.
Picked up Dark Reign: Dark X-Men "The Beginning". Was the stories of the 3 characters I couldn't care less about. Here's to issue 2!
A good Comic Thursday.

| Re: What comic did you last read? It's not as if the comics are shorter surely? dc have more sense, doing short new back up stories but you can't beat Criminal extras.

(Some more Frank Kafka PI strips wouldn't go amiss.) |
