Re: What comic did you last read?

I just read issue one of Phonogram over lunch. First comic I’ve read in years.

It’s outright bloody genius. I plan to buy the next five issues too. I’m also going to listen to Kenickie and the Afghan Whigs all afternoon at work.

Been hearing about this from various places for a while, it definitely shows promise.

Re: What comic did you last read?

It’s possible I just identify with the pop-cultural references and psychology of the lead character a little too closely. I was bound to like it from the get-go.

Re: What comic did you last read?

I just re-read David Boring by Daniel Clowes for the thousandth time.

I sense a geek-style halloween costume coming on. Oh right, I already dress like that.

Re: What comic did you last read?

Jack of Fables #2, Snakes on a Plane #1 (horrendous), Wolverine vs Darkness (not entirely too bad though non-plussed with the artwork), Wolverine 45 (Civil War stuff, Logan sticks on the Iron Man suit and kicks Namor's ass.)

There's a few more from this week, but that's last nights catch.
