Reading my way through the complete America's Best Comics line. Certainly put Millarworld in it's fucking place. I can't think of any other writer who has, from whole cloth, created his own little universe and made it look so effortless. Even the books not written by Moore himself are flawless, and I'll be looking out for more comics by science-fiction writer Paul Di Filippo.
On that note, how is it that Peter Hogan keeps getting fired from comic companies and Chuck Austen keeps getting work? |

Picked up Killapalooza #4 the other day.
I'm liking this alot, despite it being a re-hash of several stories, and it sort of reminds me of Wanted in that sense, but I love the art, and the twists are pretty cool and well thought out.

| Re: What comic did you last read? Sorry, genuinely thought you were talking about a comic. Bit slow today, blaming hangover.
You were just admiring the work of Mr Quietly then I take it. |

| Re: What comic did you last read? I was indeed.
I'm suprised how obvious it is, now that it's been pointed out.
Forever to be one of the historic "ONCE YOU SEE IT! YOU CAN'T UN-SEE IT!" sort of pictures.
Possibly a hint or rather a sign of whats to come?

| Re: What comic did you last read? From the moment I saw that cover I knew something was up with it. It just screamed WRONG to me. Once it was pointed out I was like 'Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck'.

Bendis you demented bastard genius, it's been a looooong time since I actually let out a high-pitched fanboy squeal while reading.
Return of my favourite S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, won't spoil it. |

| Re: What comic did you last read? Don't think Bendis has much to do with it anymore... or really ever had at all besides the basic idea of Nick Fury's caterpillars, which got dumped quite quickly when Hickman realised they were the least interesting aspect of the book. So I'm giving all the credit to Hickman.
And yeah, I nearly posted about it last night but would have felt bad depriving you of the 'fanboy squeal' moment

Two-Face looks like an absolute queerhawk. I think this is the only Bat-book I don't enjoy right now!
